State Farm Insurance - Denied Employement due to technical glitches with State Farm's e-mail system.
I applied for employment with State Farm and proceeded through the process. I took the testing and did the typing test, which is part 5 of State Farm's testing battery.
The results of this were received and I was never given the materials to retest.
Both Betty P. Lee and Jennifer DeNonCourt from HR assured me they would send me a new e-mail with credentials that would allow me to take the typing test (part 5); however, this never occurred. I received an e-mail from Betty P. Lee 7 days after she said it had been sent (dated 11/13/2014) that did not contain the testing information required.
Despite assurances from Jennifer DeNoncourt that I would receive a new e-mail, I have not received it. This error is strictly on State Farm's side as I have no issues receiving e-mails from other parties.
As a result, I was wrongly denied a position with State Farm. State Farm Corporate officials do not have any contact information listed so there is no way to reach them.
Either way, I think State Farm customers and prospective employees need to be aware that they are not to be trusted. If you do business with this organization you are taking a nasty risk.
Reason of review: Negligent Retention .
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado

Sounds like a great way to try to get a job somewhere....go on-line and bash the company you're trying to work for. Interesting strategy.
