I made a claim 9/4/18 for my Jeep. It flooded during TS Gordon.

State Farm had it towed to a salvage yard. It sat at the salvage yard wet for a month. State Farm finally called me & said the adjuster couldnโ€™t find any storm-related damage so they needed my authorization to tow it to a repair facility. Again, itโ€™s been a month.

I reluctantly agreed to the diagnostic test at the body shop. Another month goes by at the body shop & after multiple calls to SF corporate & my agent, I finally get the prognosis: your sunroof seal was faulty and we will only pay for a window switch. I asked the adjuster if they would have covered it if my sunroof was open. He said yes.

My electrical is shot, the headliner is shot, the carpet is trashed and my vehicle is not drivable. Mold has accumulated during the month it sat wet in the salvage yard. Adding insult to injury, I had to pay $200 for a diagnostic test, my insurer wouldnโ€™t pay it. 2 months of stupidity.

I am happily switching to USAA after 36 years with SF. Good riddance!

Reason of review: Order processing issue.

If your vehicle was clearly in an area that showed in all weather reports and news reports was flooded they have to pay the claim . Thereโ€™s no way s pesky sunroof causes a that must damage

the longer you are with state farm the less they care about you and the more money they charge you.
