After 20+ years of having our home, auto and rental property insurance with State Farm I was told that State Farm would not pay for a burglary claim because "it was hard living by the person(s) who broke into the property and they do not cover hard wear and tear on rental property." Have you ever heard anything more ridiculous! No one returns phone calls even when they say they will.

I learned from a State Farm "insider" that "State Farm will go out of their way to find ways to pay personal and auto related claims. However, for smaller commercial claims they will look for ways not to pay the claims by delaying or deterring the handling of the claims in hope of the client getting frustrated and not challenging State Farm." Does State Farm have an unwritten corporate understanding to do this?
