State Farm Insurance - Insurance itself is a fraud
I have been driving 35 + years and had State Farm from the beginning. I also have my homeowners and life insurance through them.
In 35 + years I have had 3 minor incidents. The last one I was pulling out of a car wash which had a very narrow drive through and I wasn't even going 5 miles per hour but I tapped the guardrail with my right front fender. It was amazing to me how the bumper caved in and pushed the quarter panel back into the passengers side door. My vehicle is a 2016 GMC Cayon.
I got home and called my agent who told where to get my estimate. The auto body adjuster told me "it looks worse than what it is". Total estimate $3000.00. I paid my $500.00 deductible.
Once I went to pick up my vehicle the final cost was $700.00 higher than the written estimate. 3 month later my premium went up $45.00 per month. I called my agent and was told "the accident wiped out my ACCIDENT FORGIVENESS and they just had a price increase. You pay years and years of premiums with filing any claims and as soon as you do the insurance companies raises your rates.
Insurance is a legalized fraud. I told my agent she will be losing my business.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $3000.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
