This company does not care about there customers at all. I've been with state farm since I was 18 and I'm 28 now,I've had one claim and these S.O.B's have sent me thru all type of BS,I was car jacked at gun point,I have renters and auto insurance policies with these *** and its been for months, still no word on my claim.

Car was recovered 2 months after the theft, car still sits in the shop and state farm wants me 2 jump thru 5 millions hoops, submit this, provide that,go under oath etc...Are You *** serious? You didn't ask for all that when I got the *** insurance. Its not like I drive a Lamborghini,wow... So over them,I won't give the one more f#ucking dollar.

Good luck to those who will ever have to file a claim. I feel for you!!!

Insurance, but that's also the insurance agent's JOB to inform ABOUT the policy. It's not always about the people paying exorbitant amounts.

I mean, there has to be a culpability when the people are expected to tell the truth about important things concerning the policy...don't. How do we, the holders, know what to ask to a minute detail or know if something's odd? It's not our field.

We hope our agent is really telling us the important factors. Most holders aren't lawyers, and especially with things like cars, you can't drive off a lot without some form of proof.

The problem is that most people don't read their policies, don't bother to sit down with their agents and quite honestly refuse to be educated.

Insurance,

And yet my father has the exact same policy within 20 miles of me and gets different help and advice. Please stop cheerleading for a company that can't decide what it wants to be first: insurance, bank, or investment firm.

Another thing: how am I supposed to know exactly what to ask when I'm paying them to TELL me? Such as the fact you need renter's insurance to cover if a car is broken into...on a comprehensive plan when you explicitly ask what's covered, but that important bit was taken out; both when enacting and deactivating an account. Oh, wait. That puts holes in your little pithy comment.

State Farm is a joke and anyone who is paying out premiums will understand what were saying if they ever file a claim. They are unbelievable and they have the worst customer service ever. When you're paying your premium, they're super nice and sending cards on your birthday and holidays but as soon as you file a claim, they don't even know your name, its what's your claim number...lol..freaking jokesters!!!!!!

Insurance policies are state regulated. State Farm doesn't make up the rules.

The state does.

Maybe you should learn a little more about insurance before freaking out. If you had educated yourself as a consumer, then maybe you wouldn't have had a problem.

I COMPLETELY understand. My spare set of keys were stolen from my mom's car and I called to inform my insurance company because logically it makes more sense to pay out on a change of locks than the price of freaking Mini Cooper. Nope. That's "preventative" care. Right. I planned the whole thing so I could get a change of locks. I planned the fact the area has gotten pretty dicey with car break-ins. The second set in there so if I'm locked out, my mom won't have hunt the keys down. (She's 78.)

Anyway, I called them and it's apparently my problem but if it's stolen they're totally payout a new car. Right. That makes sense. Couple hundred to prevent someone living in my apartment complex from stealing my car rather than paying for a Mini Cooper. I just don't even. These jokers need to be fined.

And NOW they're a bank, investment firm, and insurance company. Two of these are not like the other. I have to pay $750/6 months for something that only deals with the *physical* property if it's busted up. If someone were to break into my car and steal something, they wouldn't pay it out then, either. You need renter's insurance for that payout. Why do I need renter's insurance on a CAR? I'm not living in the *** thing. I'm driving it. Thus making it an AUTO problem.

Hello, 1902, glad you're back. Oh, wait. No I'm not.

I'm going to another company.

This is a ridiculous insurance company that don't deliver if the consumer is in pretty bad need due to accidents. I've been in this company for over twenty years on my cars and more than ten years with my house and I don't have any complaint then not until my house had an accident due to clogged sewer pipe and it flooded my house.

I filed a claim and I was denied for they said my house wasn't covered if it caused by tree roots.

I would say this is ridiculous. What kind of property insurance is this???????

They probably don't care for your filthy language. I wouldn't pay out on your claim either with your attitude and mouth.
