My wife was sitting at a stop light and was slammed into by another car going at least 55 MPH. My wife’s car was totaled.

My insurance gave us an estimated value of 11K within 2 days of the accident. It took State Farm 11 days to come up with a figure of 8.8K, and now they refuse to pay for a rental. I have asked repeatedly for State Farm to show me three quotes for a like vehicle, (my wife’s car only had 60,000 miles despite being a 2008). State Farm’s response is “We provided a quote for a vehicles with 90,000 miles, and adjusted the price”.

Their agents have been unresponsive, and have not sent me the information in writing despite three requests. They have never even asked my wife’s condition after the accident. The information from their adjustor is not accurate, and no one seems to care.

Their only concern is to provide the lowest possible claim amount.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $11000.

Preferred solution: I want State Farm to immediately cut me a check for the value my insurance company provided, $11,069..

I didn't like: Lowball offer, Unresponsive agent, No mitchell report.
