Mimi Cheek and her office manager Rosa Garcia cannot care any less about their customers. I was recently in an accident with a tractor trailer, in which the tractor trailer was at fault.

Not once, did they inquire about my well being, but instead told me to call the trucking company's insurance company myself. I thought that was what I paid them to do...when I was with Progressive, they did the work. Meanwhile, I getting reports, calling insurance offices, getting damage estimates (over $4000.00 worth of repairs) etc...they still have not cared to follow up. I am just shocked, even if you did not care, I would at least think that inquiring about your customers' well being would be the first thing on your list to speak about.

Also, I changed my banking information and was trying to rent a car to go to my grandfather's funeral. The gentleman on the phone, I believe his name was Luis, stated I have no insurance. However, I provided proof that money was deducted from my account two days prior. He stated Mimi Cheek's office received the payment, however, until the money gets to Johns Creek Office, they cannot verify my insurance to the rental car company.

He said it usually always is a 3-5 day lapse from when Mimi Cheek's office receives the payment and when Johns' Creek office can verify if the payment was active. I was trying to dispute that either way my payment is in your office's account, and I have a valid up to date insurance card...they still refused to verify. He told me to call Mimi Cheek directly...I did, and she stated, "I have not been at the office in a week, call my office manager and let her handle it." I did...no response. I ended up having to pay extra for the car rental's insurance.

It is just the demeanor of those in that office, there is always a nicer way to speak to people.

I no longer want to be with that office and will change to another State Farm office. The customer service there is horrible, only care about getting a paycheck.

Monetary Loss: $4506.
