My car insurance rates were raised from $74.00 to #103.00 in July 2018 with no warning or explanation. Since I set up auto-payment I did not discover the charge until one week later.

This is not the first time this has happened. After over 40 years with SF - I cancelled, requested a prorated refund (which I still have not received) and signed up with AAA for $64.00 per month for the same coverage. Last time I overpaid I was only refunded a small portion of the amount owed but lacked the desire to complain further. Two years ago my rates were $55.00 mo.

for the same 2006 Toyota & coverage.

I have a safe-driver / low mileage policy & can find no reason for the premiums to rise to levels they have with no accidents or tickets. I hope they will refund the entire amount due me so I do no feel obliged to take this complaint to the next level.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $80.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Seem more argumentative than helpful.
