We would like to request that our complaint against State Farm Corporation be added to our file. Despite our repeated attempts to resolve the matter through various means of communication including email, mail, fax, and voicemail messages left with their attorney Lori Thompson, we have yet to receive a response from State Farm Corporation.
Mr. Kimble, Director of Operations, and Mr. Spencer, Chief Financial Officer, have attempted contact by conference several times. This lack of response further underscores our concerns regarding the violations of our rights as the only African American corporation in Swanton, OH.

URGENT: FORMAL COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST MCNEILL CHEVROLET AND STATE FARM CORPORATION.

This urgent notice is to inform you that a formal complaint has been lodged against McNeill Chevrolet and State Farm Corporation with the Ohio Attorney General's Office. The complaint reference number is WM000219779, reported on 05/29/2024. It is imperative that you retain this information in your records or promptly forward it to your legal counsel as we are actively preparing for court proceedings and awaiting a response from the Ohio Supreme Court.
Due to the egregious violations and injustices experienced in Fulton County, we have lost all faith in the local justice system. We have reported factual violations to the court and are requesting their intervention.
The attached demand request was sent to both organizations on 05/17/2024 and has been submitted to The Ohio Attorney General's Office.

I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to provide additional evidence in support of our ongoing complaints against State Farm Corporation. The evidence presented herein illustrates the serious legal violations committed by State Farm and emphasizes their unfair and deceptive practices.
State Farm has consistently delayed our legitimate claim by repetitively requesting the same information as a strategy to unjustly deny us coverage. This claim originated from a hate crime against our corporation and my family, which State Farm has failed to address appropriately.
In spite of our consistent provision of information, State Farm has disseminated false and damaging statements against me, resulting in harm to my professional reputation.
The racial discrimination exhibited by State Farm not only infringes upon our rights but also jeopardizes the well-being and standing of The HCV Distribution Corporation. Our rights have been violated and we have been unfairly targeted and deprived of necessary resources and protection following a hate crime. Despite evidence of law enforcement's delayed response to the incident, State Farm launched an unwarranted investigation and made unfounded accusations against me and the corporation, leading to significant financial consequences. Under the guise of State Farm Corporation's protection, we were robbed twice, resulting in the complete devastation of our company beyond repair.
State Farm has neglected to address these issues for almost two years. We have also lost vehicles to repossession due to their fraudulent practices, and now face the imminent loss of our only remaining asset, our home. State Farm will be held accountable for their actions. We possess evidence to substantiate each of our claims and concerns, including documentation of the state of our building before, during, and after the incident, which has been disregarded.
Moreover, State Farm unlawfully disclosed personal information without authorization, violated privacy laws, and unlawfully locked us out of our building.
The unjust treatment and groundless allegations propagated by State Farm have profoundly impacted my business, employees, and family. State Farm is also culpable for a security breach that compromised the personal information of over 2,500 of our former customers, prompting concerns for my personal safety due to the lack of action taken by State Farm to address the breach. Despite repeated complaints, slander, and threats received from previous clients, State Farm has failed to acknowledge these issues. The negligent response to the second robbery incident also resulted in a breach of previous clients' personal information, further complicating our legal situation.
I have attached various documents that offer insight into the discriminatory practices perpetrated by State Farm, including derogatory remarks made about me during court proceedings.
These actions have severely harmed my reputation and identity, and I am committed to seeking redress for the harm caused to me and my business.
I urge you to review this additional evidence as we pursue justice in this matter.

We knew that we were not at fault, but the claim handler still concluded that we were at fault. At the intersection where the accident occurred, the Google map only showed the other side of the intersection, which had a narrow lane and obstacles.
The side where the accident actually happened did not show on the Google map; this is the corner where the accident actually happened. The claim handler did not want to listen to us, even though we sent her all the pictures and clips to prove that our statement is true. I would like to turn the case back and view it properly and responsibly.

State Farm auto and home insurance:
Auto insurance since 1992; current cost=790/yr
Condo insurance since 2015; current cost= 546/yr
Apartment insurance for years prior to buying the condo.
A lawyer told me State Farm is now one of the worst insurance companies. They have appeared in many news stories for dropping homeowner insurance policies using drones and absurd excuses.
This makes me think my experience isn't uniquely bad.
I tried to make a claim because another owner beneath had water damage.
I was on hold for 45 minutes and made the claim online while waiting. I waited for days for a call from a person whose job is to lie and generalize to convince me to withdraw my claim. I am dealing with a company who has lied to me constantly, but they said State Farm lied to them. Since they both seem to have a tenuous grasp on ethics, I'm not sure who to believe.
When I finally talked to an agent who told me how to claim a reimbursement, I thought I had to process. I submitted via email, on their website, and by mail. I rarely received any response. When I was forced to repeat this lady seemed annoyed.
(Lady annoyed does not begin to describe my mood right now.)
They said they work with Servpro, which I thought meant that they were legit, far from it. They are coming after me and keep sending bogus illegal add on bills in fits.
If I ever get out of this financial jail (Servpro has my bank account at negative 30k if I could pay) I will find another insurance company.
But once one insurance company screws you nobody else will even sniff your request.

I have written this before, but here I go. We had a house fire back on Christmas Eve in 2021.
We have State Farm for insurance and figured we would be fully protected as we paid our premiums just like everyone else. After the fire, we had no guidance as to where to turn. State Farm paid all the amounts owed to all other companies but not our contractors. I posted on here about them last year and heard back from someone from the company.
They paid a little more to the contractors after a fight but still owe $30k and said that it is now on us, they will no longer pay anymore. Let me tell you, you shouldn't have to fight to get your paid coverage taken care of. But with State Farm, you are just a file on a desk and I am now having to make monthly payments to the contractors who put a lien on our house and threatened to take us to court. We should not even have to worry about this at all.
We are actively searching for a new insurance company and warning everyone we know not to use State Farm.
I don't understand how they can leave a homeowner, who has had the insurance company for over 13 years, with debt like this. If I could give a lower rating on here, I would.

After suffering a house fire, getting a new adjuster assigned to my claim has turned into a nightmare. I've called, sent emails, posted my case to social media, and my agent tried to get me a new adjuster - all to no avail.
State Farm is NOT a good neighbor.
If you like poor customer service and inexperienced adjusters that don't return calls, then State Farm is the company for you. It's not the company for me.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I filed a complaint with the AZ DIFI. State Farm was more than willing to work with me after that
Once that was complete the water mitigation company put in a small slop sink (which wasn't tall enough for me to be able to stand up straight), and I grabbed a folding table from my garage to use in place of my island.
My dishwasher was uninstalled and put in the garage until work was completed. The water line to the fridge and dishwasher were left disconnected and no one connected the cold water to the slop sink because the leak had to be contained, and it was left capped off.
Since then, it was a fight to get anything from State Farm. They tried to claim negligence because I couldn't see the leak behind the drywall. They took until March before any payments were made to the contractor, but the payments weren't enough for the work to start.
In May, I was hospitalized after a very serious crash in which I suffered a compound TiB/Fib fracture, and the guy handling my claim wouldn't wait until I got home to call me back, (I was literally being discharged when he called) to tell me another payment was made.
This still wasn't enough to cover the work being done. Both the contractor and I spent until August trying to work with State Farm both by phone and email. At which point I called my stated Dept. of Insurance.
In less than a week I was called by my latest claim handler to inform me that "there are a lot of eyes on this claim" and they'd like to get it completed as soon as possible. Two more payments were made and construction could be started. My kitchen island was installed and all work by that company was completed around Thanksgiving.
The next issue was the insurance company claiming that the contractor was charging too much to repaint my cabinets and, they wanted one of their preferred companies to do the work. At which point that company came for an estimate that was about $1500 over what State Farm says the work should cost.
I sent their estimate in and called and called and called the insurance company. My latest claim handler, Kellie, has called me back once around 6 am. When she realized how early it was she said that she would call me back. It's been around 2 weeks, and there has been no call back, regardless of how many times I've called.
I can only leave a message because she never answers her phone.
And that's where we are. After over 11 months of delays and foot dragging by State Farm I am waiting for my cabinets to be painted.
Meanwhile, I make every monthly payment.
Oh, yeah and my premiums increased back in March.
So that's where I stand at this time. 11 months of using a slop sink, and they still can't get they're act together to finish this one final detail

I tried to respond to a text that I got from State Farm, but of course, it couldn't be sent back to the number from which they sent it. This information is only for your knowledge. I have finally got my car back. This information will help you understand the process I was put through.
It took one full month, or 30 days, to get the body shop paid. 'Illegally', State Farm tried to total my vehicle in violation of Flood Insurance Law. You only extended the rental car coverage for a few additional days. Enterprise Rent-A-Car called the Body Shop multiple times, harassing them and me. They told him the vehicle was totaled. Why would a rental car company call the Body Shop to tell them the car was totaled? Why would State Farm try to legally total my car? Why have the Body Shop and I been treated so rudely and unprofessionally?
The body shop did not start any work on the car until they got authorization. This slow pay on the part of State Farm caused the delay and led me to incur additional expenses for the rental car. The rental car was towed away from my residence, leaving a senior stranded with no transportation, causing me to miss a critical doctor's appointment and a business meeting. I'm seriously considering a lawsuit for senior abuse and financial loss due to being left stranded without transportation.
Your representative, DeMarkus Perkins, Area Manager, spoke to me on numerous occasions in an unprofessional and rude manner. I didn't feel as if I was in good hands with State Farm. The only redeeming experience from this entire mess created by the State Farm Insurance Company is my insurance agent, who has been very helpful in guiding me on how to navigate through this chaotic situation. I have already filled out the survey for Enterprise and it wasn't good. I don't expect to receive a survey from State Farm. Enterprise asked if they could call and discuss this with me. I've been waiting for the call and haven't received it yet.
I'm not surprised since I've spent the majority of my time since May 11 on hold, talking more with the hold music than anyone at State Farm or Enterprise. Each time I'm on hold, it lasts nearly 30 minutes. You took 30 days to pay the claim and the only reason you did is that you knew if you didn't after 30 days, I could sue State Farm. I plan to leave multiple negative reviews on several websites and social platform sites. Shame on you, shame on your company, and shame on you for trying to take advantage of a senior and total my vehicle illegally, which would have put me under severe financial stress.

Recent MVA. Both parties Insured by S.F.
within days was sent a message stating other party ADMITTED FAULT & I was 100% NOT LIABLE. Enter internal "special" supposedly unbiased adjuster (for other party) due to both parties being w/S.F. W/O having and/or viewing ALL facts/evidence, both parties declared "at fault" after other party ADMITTED FAULT. My agent was informed decision based on video & witness agreeing both at fault.
Witness told me they were never contacted. When they contacted adjuster was told statement not necessary, I already made final decision. How W/O having ALL FACTS (per S.F. guidelines)?
I brought forth any/all evidence to the contrary to no avail. My agents' office while they did try to help at first, seemed reluctant/afraid to stand up to/get involved w/ "spec" agent stating her word IS FINAL. Would not correct internal/special adjuster though fully aware of/knew about misinformation/straight out lies & that judgement was executed/deemed correct & final w/o having/considering ALL evidence/facts. Internal adjuster made her own rules, didn't follow protocol.
Motive? General dislike/like of one party or 2 birds w/1 stone by raising rates on both policies?! Only she knows. Handled very unprofessional, poorly by "special" adjuster/all involved.
I felt very alone/ganged up on unfairly/wrongly blamed/judged. Other party driving on learners, gave 3 different variations of what happened AFTER ACCEPTING LIABILITY as I, video & witness were/remained consistent.
Many years ago though pricier, I chose State Farm w/expectations of higher standards, professionalism, caring, integrity. They are not the State Farm of old.
I can get this low level of standard/service elsewhere, much cheaper. Very disappointed.

I have had State Farm as my personal carrier for years, so when my mother unexpectedly passed last summer, I was relieved to find out she carried with them - but with this Agent. Sadly though, when I had to file a claim for property damage, things went terribly wrong and this Agent's office was (and continues to be) absolutely no help at all.
Understanding, as I have worked with agents for years, that agents cannot do anything about the claim itself - this Agent will not even advocate for their customers.
In fact, when I first contacted this Agent's office to report the adjuster blatantly lied to me about coverage, instead of contacting his boss directly, they told him - and it just worsened from there!
As it did, I continued to try and reach someone with claims to address the issues at hand as well as would receive harassing calls from the adjuster - all of which I reported to this Agent who did nothing except 'notate the file'.
Then, when I took to the Oklahoma Ins Adjuster Licensing page to look up information for the claims manager I had been promised a call for weeks, this Agent made false statements about where or how I obtained the information and filed a report / complaint about my own agents office!!
Most recently, I had called them to simply ask if they would just request someone in claims to contact me and they just flat out said 'we want nothing to do with this'. When asked a question about coverage, they said they couldn't advise on how the coverages THEY SELL worked, I would need to call claims - claims said that the Agent should be able to advise on coverages and processes.
They do not want anything to do with helping their customers when it comes time, but this Agent was all too happy to inherit a policy that has literally been in place since 1996 and collect the annual premiums... including those where coverages increased and changed... coverages that State Farm is now unwilling to pay out anywhere close to...
I did file a complaint with the State Ins Dept, The Attorney General, the BBB, as well as two or three other consumer agencies but will be posting reviews on several platforms about not just State Farm but this Agent!
I hate to think how many have suffered damages in Oklahoma recently and what they must be going through right now.
Hopefully their agents are more helpful than Mr. Young.
I hope this Agent looses his license.

Our home burned to the ground last Thursday along with our 2 vehicles due to a cub cadet riding mower. We also lost our pet.
State Farm is a JOKE! They are wanting to give us 60000 dollars and said it depreciated over 25 years, saying then it would be 45000, then we have to pay for cleanup which my husband met the first guy yesterday and he said 30,000They are INSANE! Our home was beautiful. Full front porch 2 car garage swimming pool.
Granite countertops. New flooring, my husband had done the master bathroom in rock, everyone that came there loved it.Also had a metal roof put on. It was a modular home but so well kept and updated.
I promise you they will NOT get away with this! absolutely sickening!!!

Dropped after 29 years because of 2 accidents since 2006.
I have carrier State Farm insurance since 1995, and I was on my parent's policy from 1991-****, and after 29 years, they decided to drop me because of two accidents in the last 18 years. In addition to this, I carried a term-life policy as well as renter's insurance.
Longevity means nothing to State Farm.
When I needed them most, they dropped me.
The world needs to know what a terrible organization State Farm is.
They took my money for 29 years, they had no problem drawing the money right from my bank, now, because their incompetent, backwards, underwriters decided I am a risk, they are dropping me.
I have never had to look for insurance for my home and car, and because of sickening corporate greed and conservative stupidity, I am now SOL.
Remember, if they will take a dump on a customer of 29 years, they will do far worse to those who are new.
Cancel your State Farm policies today. Get the same coverage for far less from other providers.

State Farm doesnt want to give me a rental under my wifes insurance policy because she owns my car too, but she took her car and hit mine and left the scene she literally tried to kill me. I need a car to get to my appointments for my kidney disease that I cant miss, and I need to take my kid to her appointments too.
State Farm doesnt care at all. Im literally fighting for my life on a day to day basis.

I received a call stating my policy won't be renewed due to too many tows and claims. I have three vehicles on my policy, one of which has never had any claims or tows.
Another vehicle has two claims, which were not my fault, and two tows. The last vehicle has one claim, not my fault. Out of all the claims, State Farm has never lost money. For one of the tows, I was reimbursed by State Farm but they have it recorded as two different tows.
I received a letter in the mail today that shows five emergency roadside services, but three of them weren't me. My local agent said the corporate information would be in the letter but it's not. Google isn't helping. I even inquired about where these tows occurred, and the local agent couldn't tell me.
As far as I'm concerned, State Farm can suck an egg.
I've been with them for at least five years. I advice against using State Farm for insurance, they'll take advantage of you unceremoniously.
- At least they have a local office
- Act like they cut me a check for my no fault accidents
Preferred solution: An apology, proof of 3 of these roadside, and a renewal.

My wife is a client of State Farm, and she took her own car - Acura TLX and hit my car intentionally, Kia Soul. The claim adjuster is saying they are going to deny my claim because she owns my car too because she is the primary.
My life is in danger literally, and this is unacceptable. Ive been without a vehicle for three weeks. I have appointments to go to for myself due to kidney failure, and to take my special needs kid to hers in Gainesville. So because your client intentionally tried to hit me, yall are saying *** me and my life?
That is past disgusting.
I need a rental car by 11am today! I need a phone call to my phone by 10am, or I promise I will have the news at your front door step.
Preferred solution: A rental car so I can get to my appointments for my illness and injuries from the hit-and-run; and to take my daughter to school and her appointments too.

Ive been waiting for over a month for the homeowner premium paid by my mortgage company to be refunded after cancellation of policy. If this doesnt happen soon the mortgage company will come back and raise my house payment to adjust for the shortage in my escrow account.
Claim in review over two months??????
I have had a water claim for over 2 months for approximately $4,000. Adjuster every time I call has told me they're reviewing it the bills which are only four total.
I have called them in the past 3 weeks or so at least 20 times and get the same reasoning and they tell me to call back the next day to see how they are doing. Adjusters are lying and this is the fourth adjuster that has been handling my claim.
I am 86 years old and had to borrow the money to pay the bills for the claim as my social security check is only $1,300 a month. State farm is beyond horrible and I cannot even get the corporate office phone number when I dial all the numbers that are listed for State farm all they tell me is contact your agent who is worthless here in Boise Idaho

I have been their faithful customer since I was 17 years old I am 86 years old now I have a claim in for water damage for approximately $4,000 and the claims adjuster keeps telling me they're reviewing it every time I've called and I've called at least 25 times over the last 4 weeks
