We got hit in a parking lot and the guy admitted he hit my car at the time of the accident but now when he gives his statement to insurance, he lies, and he states that I hit him! I have pictures of where my car was at the time of the accident and a witness but State Farm denied my claim.

There is no damage to his car but my bumper is dented in. It is not a major crash, but I don't think it is right that I have a crashed car and the liar wins.

Is there any thing I can do? Has anyone had experience with people lying to insurance?

File a formal complaint with the state Insurance Commission and take the liar to Small Claims Court. Same thing happened to me, I won my case. Good Luck!

If State Farm denied the claim, the best thing to do is place the claim through your own insurance company. If you do not have collision insurance, appeal with State Farm.

There is information on how to do that.

Present everything you have to the appeals board. If that does not work, you may have to challenge them in small claims court.
