Not quite sure why you feel your agent needed to look at your windshield. Agents don't determine the value of your claim nor do they make claim decisions.

There was absolutely no reason for an agent to see your vehicle for you to make a claim. Very simple situation here. If you had a rock hit your windshield, it is covered under comprehensive coverage. Do you carry comprehensive coverage?

If not, there's nothing the insurance company can do for you. The repair or replacement comes out of your pocket. If you do carry comprehensive coverage, what is your deductible? If the cost to repair or replace the windshield falls below your deductible, then the costs come out of your pocket.

If the damage exceeds your deductible, you state you would like to file a glass claim. The company connects you with a glass company. The glass company comes to you (at work or home) and repairs or replaces your windshield. It's a very, very simple type of claim and could have been fully handled with one phone call (if the damage exceeds your deductible).

Your agent does not determine the amount of the claim. That's between you and the folks repairing/replacing your windshield.

Have you gotten any estimates from glass companies? If not, that's the first thing you need to do.

And, yet, your vocabulary, and spelling STILL sucks. Not surprised you couldn't figure out the claim process.

Who has time to drive all over to get estiments why can't they just send someone to fix it and I pay everything under my deductible
