my car was totaled by a state farm client on 8/5/2016, it is now 8/13/2016, i am told they cant reach the policy holder. i am out of a car for 8 days now with no loaner car.the clients name is lisa dean this company is terrible and i am going to the news about this.i wouldnt recommend these dirtbags to my worst enemy(if i had one) i keep calling mark vargas and leaving messages, he never returned any of them. my company would fire people for less, so if you want to get annoyed just let one of their clients hit you, have a great day as i havent in over a week

My daughter is going through the exact same thing. State Farm agent saying she has not heard from the driver who hit my daughter.

They made my daughter pay for a rental car. Yes, a fee to rent a car and your driver totalled her car. You call the agent over and over. This is a nightmare.

Someone needs to tell Jake what they are doing. Shameful.

Read comment below this one. It explains exactly why no insurance company immediately accepts liability.

If your daughter wants immediate service, she can always take out a claim on her own insurance. She'll be responsible for her deductible, but when the at-fault company accepts liability, her deductible may be returned.


Insurance companies do not automatically accept liability. They must speak to their insured to get their side of the story.

They have a contract with their insured to defend them. You are not their customer. By law, they have multiple weeks to try and reach their client. It is their contracted obligation to do so.

Call your company and turn the claim in under your coverage. Your company will attempt to recover their money and your deductible.
