I have had State Farm insurance since I was 17 years old. I am now 32 and over the past 15 years I have paid over $25,000 for insurance on my vehicles, life insurance and renters insurance.
I had to transfer my insurance from Ohio, to Indiana and now Kentucky. Over the years I've never had an issue and have never needed to utilize my insurance that I've paid for. This year however I had some bad luck...1 accident, my starter was bad on my car and needed them to come jump my car a few times to get it to a shop to have work done & I had hail damage as well. That may sound like a lot in 1 year, however since I've never had to utilize my insurance over the past 15 years that I've been paying for you would think they would give me a break...nope, they cancelled my insurance on my one vehicle....
so I thought. They gave me inaccurate information stating 1 of my vehicles insurance would be cancelled. Long story short, my entire insurance policy with State Farm was cancelled and with the inaccurate information I was driving my vehicle for 2 months without insurance even though they informed me it would be cancelled on December 28th. They only thing they could tell me about that inaccurate information is that the lady that gave it to me no longer works with their company.
Luckily nothing happened during that 2 month period because I'm sure they would not have been willing to help out if something had gone wrong.
I'm highly disappointed with State Farm and the Allen Wade office in Owensboro Kentucky. After my incidents and going around with them over the past few months I'm happy to say I'm free from them and would never recommend them to anyone.
