State Farm cancelled our policy because they said they did not receive proof of prior insurance. Our prior insurance agent sent the proof over several times.

We have also submitted the proof of prior, but apparently the agent never submitted it to underwritting and they cancelled us. We have been in contact several times with State Farms Customer Service and they said they were getting it corrected. We found out July 14th that they had cancelled June 17th. In all of the emails and phone calls over the last month, they never once said they cancelled the policy, we thought they were correcting it.

Now if we try to go somewhere else, our premiums are double because the system shows a lapse of coverage.

Our homeowners is also going up because we are loosing our multi policy discount. We are outraged.
