On april 2nd we got invovled in a automobile accident. It was ruled as not our fault.

The driver who caused the wreck was under insured and could not cover all the damage they did. State Farm lied about what it takes to get a vaulation of our vehicle. They said it had to be a comparable vehicle from our geographic area. After months of arguing back and forth they finally sent their comparable vehicles none were comparable in equiptment none were from our geographic area.

They have still not paid the personal injury claims, nor have we even gotten a offer to settle. THEY ARE UNETHICAL LIARS.

Product or Service Mentioned: State Farm Insurance Claim.

Monetary Loss: $60.

Your accident happened on April 2nd and your insurance company is actually responding (badly...but responding)!

Check out "GEICO car crash claim in its 9th year and counting."

You should have a lawyer dealing with State Farm on your behalf. He/she will have a better grip on what's "comparable" and what isn't. Insurors see drivers who handle their own claims as easy marks.

Choose a lawyer -- carefully -- who knows what he/she is doing and has a good rep with past clients. AND when your case is finally done with, get an itemized list of expenses from your lawyer BEFORE you sign over his part of the settlement or judgement.

Good luck.
