I had a dishwasher that sprung a leak that went undetected for a couple weeks. The adjuster came out and inspected the damage and then told me I had to prove that the dishwasher was the reason for the damage.
Duh, the water damage was directly under the washer. So, at my additional expense I am required to have an appliance tech come out and certify that the issue was caused by a faulty valve on the unit. Then once that is accomplished they will reconsider my claim.
I've been a faithful customer for 30+ years.
No longer. I'm shopping for someone that is more customer focused and empowers their employees to pay a claim on something so obvious without making me jump through a bunch of unnecessary hoops.
